In mensuration three, I learned to live parts like doors, windows, roof trusses, roof finishes, roof emptying,steel works and metal work.Besides mensuration, we have a tendency to conjointly learned topics like principle of specification writing, kind of specification writing and their uses for the varied trades.



The objectives of the module are:
1. Appreciate the importance of Tender Document preparation and therefore the importance of the ability to figure effectively with different among the context of a team.
2. To develop a depth of subject information on the principles of mensuration of varied parts.
3. To develop call – creating and management skills associated with the number mensuration profession within the preparation of the Bills of Quantities.
The learning outcomes for this subject are:
1. acknowledge the things measurable for doors, windows, roof structure, roof finishes, cross emptying, steelworks and metal works
2. Distinguish and illustrate variations in writing up descriptions in accordance to style changes of for doors, windows, roof trusses, roof finishes, roof emptying, structural steel works and metal works.
3. assess the link between specifications, drawings and Bill of Quantities in Tender Documents for doors, windows, roof trusses, roof finishes, roof emptying, steel works and metal works.
4. manufacture mensuration for doors, windows, roof trusses , roof finishes, roof emptying, steel works and metal works in accordance to plain methodology of mensuration (SMM2)
5. Generate a abstract understanding of and therefore the ability to capably perform the preparation of the Bills of Quantities for doors, windows, roof trusses, roof finishes, roof emptying, steel works and metal works.
